If you would like to adopt a cat from your local RSPCA you will need to have a Home Visit. Please contact the Cat Co-ordinator on 07926 364633 and leave a message giving your name, address and telephone number clearly so that we can return your call. We contact everyone who wants to adopt
To adopt a Cat, we ask for a minimum donation of £60 – includes vaccination, neutering and micro chipping.
**Please note we cannot guarantee that a particular animal will be suitable for every adopter. In the best interest of the animal we reserve the right to refuse if the circumstances are not ideal for that animal.
This is just a selection of the cats that we have this month. We cannot guarantee that a particular cat will still be available for adoption, but we still have a great selection. Sometimes we name the cats while they are with us in the cattery but you are welcome to change it when you adopt. If you are interested in a particular cat please quote the reference number rather than the name.
C52 is a tortoiseshell and white female kitten and the others are black and white males. The 3 boys (C53,C54 and C55) look a little groggy on their mug shots because they have just been neutered. All of them have been wormed and treated for fleas. These kittens are now lively, healthy and eating well.
All these kittens are now weaned and litter trained. Three are slightly longer haired and the fourth (C47) is short haired. All the kittens are male. They need a home where someone has lots of time and they would benefit from a lot of handling as they are a bit shy.
Nala is 2 years old, has recently had kittens but has now been spayed. We are looking for a loving home for this little girl now her kittens are weaned. She is lively, curious and playful and is very affectionate. This cutie got very thin while feeding her kittens but is looking forward to a happy home where she can recover her weight.
Jimbo is 4-5 years old. He is quiet and a bit shy, he doesn’t like dogs. Jimbo is friendly but this is why we would suggest a quiet home for him. When he comes out to see people he knows he’s very affectionate and he likes treats.
Keith is affectionate and enjoys human company, although has become quite shy in our cattery. This handsome chap is about 2 years old and neutered. He likes going outside and, like all our cats, is litter trained. Keith is not used to living with other pets but is ok with children. He likes both wet and dry cat food, and especially likes treats.
Asher is timid but a friendly, petite youngster. We think she is about 1 year old. She is used to other cats and children. She likes going outside but is not very happy about dogs. She likes her food and is not fussy about wet or dry. She is litter trained and recently spayed.
Tiggs is friendly and playful, she is 6 years old. She has been used to outside access but prefers to live mostly indoors. She isn’t fussy with food, liking both wet and dry. Tiggs is ok with other cats and children.
Stewie is friendly and lively. He is neutered and about 7 years old. Stewie has some extra toes which give him very cute big feet. This is quite common in cats but doesn’t usually cause them problems. We suggest regularly checking his feet to check his claws are not too long. He likes going outside but is also litter trained. He likes other cats and prefers a diet of wet cat food. We don’t think Stewie would suit a house with young children. He loves to be stroked and to be close to people. He loves treats.
Pretzel can be a bit shy when she first meets people but she’s very friendly. Pretzel likes nesting and hiding under her blanket and looks really cute when she peeps out at people. She is about 4 years old, she is used to children and likes to go outside. She is spayed and litter trained.
